Overview:
As an Irrigation Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining and repairing irrigation systems for residential and commercial properties. We are looking for candidates with experience in this field, or competent candidates who are ready to learn. If you enjoy working outdoors and want to learn a valuable trade, this is the perfect opportunity for you.
Duties:
- Install, repair, and maintain irrigation systems
- Inspect and troubleshoot irrigation systems to identify issues
- Adjust sprinkler heads and nozzles to ensure proper water distribution
- Program and set irrigation controllers
- Dig trenches to install sprinkler heads, pipes and connections
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in landscape maintenance or irrigation systems is preferred, but not required
- Knowledge of mechanical systems and basic plumbing principles is a plus
- Familiarity with hand tools and power tools used in irrigation system installation and repair is a plus
- Strong problem-solving skills to diagnose issues with irrigation systems
- Attention to detail to ensure accurate installation and repair work
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor tasks, such as digging trenches and lifting heavy equipment

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
